Saat ini kita sering diribetkan dengan flashdisk yang masuk ke dalam komputer kita dan ternyata didalamnya terdapat virus. Gawat deh jika windows pada komputer kita tidak dimatikan service autorun. Langsung tanpa permisi lagi virus nylonong ke sistem kita.
Jika virus itu bisa ditangkal oleh anti virus yang kita pasang, gak papa. Tapi jika virus ini adalah baru atau varian baru, wah bahaya deh....

Tahapan untuk melakukan manipulasi autorun pada flashdisk
1. Pastikan Fashdisk bersih
2. Buka mode dos window
start>run>cmd
3. Pindah ke drive dimana flashdisk ada
E:
4. Buat folder dengan nama autorun.inf
mkdir autorun.inf
5. Hidden folder tersebut
attrib +s +a +h autorun.inf
6. Selesai deh

Jumlah Virus Mencapai 1 Juta Tahun Ini
Malware baru dan kreatif akan mendorong jumlah virus menjadi 1 juta pada akhir tahun ini, menurur pakar security Sophos.
Penulis malware telah didorong untuk menciptakan tipe virus yang baru dan mengeksploitasinya secara reguler sebagai sebuah bisnis, kata pakar.
Chief technology Sophos Paul Ducklin mengatakan bahwa 25% malware unik telah diciptakan dalam 6 bulan terakhir dari total 20 tahun sejarah.
"Sekitar 85 sampai 90% malware sudah dapat ditangani secepatnya" dan "Jumlah e-mail bervirus yang dapat menembus pertahanan mengalami penurunan dari satu berbanding 40 (lima tahun lalu) menjadi satu berbanding 1000 hari ini." Menurut Ducklin, penurunan ini terjadi karena filter gateway yang semakin baik, polis sekuriti korporat yang lebih baik dan pengguna yang berpengetahuan lebih banyak.
Sementara industri sekuriti adalah sangat menguasai cara penanggulangan serangan spam dan phishing, lebih banyak usaha diperlukan untuk mencegah dan mengeliminasi malware yang didistribusikan melalui teknik yang disebut drive by download, menurut Ducklin.
Serangan memungkinkan hacker untuk menyerang pengunjung situs dengan memasukan iframe yang mengakibatkan pengunjung untuk mengunduh trojan dari situs lain yang dimiliki hacker. Serangan ini biasanya tidak terlihat oleh pengunjung situs dan biasanya tidak menarik perhatian seorang ahli sekuriti, karena hanya berupa satu baris koding untuk memanipulasi pemakai.
Wakil Presiden dari F-Secure Asia Pacific Jari Heinonen mengatakan bahwa ia menangkap 25.000 malware setiap hari, sebuah rekor baru.
"Jumlah total virus dan Trojan akan mencapai satu juta pada akhir 2008," kata Heinonen. Walaupun jumlah virus yang ada saat ini lebih banyak daripada sebelumnya, lebih sedikit pemakai yang sadar akan hal ini karena para pembuat malware telah mengubah taktik mereka.
